여러분, 안녕! Hello Everyone!

This week was a busy week for me. I just came back from a 3-day trip to Queenstown
I went with Onai and Ain. Because Ain hasn't been out of Christchurch since she came 2 months ago and coincidentally there were cheap Jetstar return tickets between Christchurch and Queenstown on sale so me and Onai decided to take Ain there

. Plus, Queenstown is a must-visit spot for anyone who come to NZ.
Actually, we were supposed to return to Christchurch on the 27th but we made a slight mistake while booking the ticket by purchasing the return ticket on the 28th

. However, Ain had to leave on the 27th because she needed to go to uni on the next day hence leaving me and Onai there for another one day. On the previous day, Onai stumbled across a LOTR special tour to Glenorchy, (a small town about 45 kilometers away from Queenstown) in one of the many booklets we grabbed from i-site. I'd say that we were very drawn to it because we liked the movie heaps!

Even though we had to stay there longer which could mean that we had to spend more money on accomodation, the third day turned out so good! Me and Onai joined a 4-hour tour to Glenorchy, the filming location of 3 movies; namely Lord of the Ring, Narnia and Wolverine (I got to take hold of the Wolverine claws! It was cool!).
Our tour guide was a local Kiwi

guy named Shane (he practically knew everyone in the small township, no kidding!) and a couple from Great Britain. Though we didn't talk alot due to our poor conversational English skills (but the auntie actually thought our English was brilliant, haha), we enjoyed the company. We had a small chat during lunch with the couple. At first I thought they were from the UK when I later learned that they were actually from a small island between Ireland and the UK. I didn't know there was an island between the two. Another new thing that I learned was that Great Britain was not equivalent to the UK. Starting from that moment, I feel some kind of happiness when I learn something new

. Like today I was chatting with Murni when she mentioned something about on-screen keyboard. I didn't even know about it before. I felt excited when I found out about it. Another new thing I learned today was the Korean name for Lunar New Year. They call it 설날 or seol-nal. Although it's a small thing, I was happy to know and learn something I didn't know of before.
Tell me, what did you learn today? Let's share!

These are some photos we took on day 1. ^^
Paragliding welcomes us to Queenstown!

This is where they land.

Ta-da~!!

Another spectacular view of Lake Wakatipu

!

The popular bungee! They tie you on your waist, you run all the way to the cliff and next thing you know is you're in the air hanging! Crazy stuff!

Luge racing!

Riding on the chairlift after a round of luge was thrilling, something you'll never forget!

This is just a side photo. I like this photo alot. It was a Raya open house at my friend's place. ^^
